Although Jesus did reveal himself off to over five hundred people after his resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:1-8), have you ever noticed that he didn’t “show himself off” to everyone—and especially not to his key opponents?  Why not?  In Acts chapter 1, when they decide that they must replace Judas as an apostle, they said this: “It is necessary that of the men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us— beginning with the baptism of John until the day that He was taken up from us—one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection.” For the select band of key eyewitnesses (apostles), they needed people with the highest credentials.
